Social Work?

Now, I'm gonna share with you about Social Work. Did you know what is Social Work actually?
Let's understand it together.

According to IFSW (International Federation Of Social Workers), Social Work is the social work profession promotes social change, problem solving in human relationships and the empowerment and liberation of people to enhance well-being. Utilizing theories of human behavior and social systems, social work intervenes at the points where people interact with their environments. Principles of human rights and social justice are fundamental to social work.

So that's mean, Social Worker will try their best to help people in need using the right ways and all resources needed so that this helpless people can improved their life and get better future.

But in Malaysia, there's too little agencies that conscious about people around them, even government. The issues about social problems become a minor issues than the political and economics issues.

Function of Social Work are not widening yet if we want to compared it with other develops country which the government are really concern about their social problems. The country also known as a Welfare State not like Malaysia.
